NEW AID AWARDED TO THE PROGRAM IN CULTURE OF LAW
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Community of Madrid has awarded the Interuniversity Program in Culture of Lawfulness (New Trust-cm) one of the aids intended to carry out programs of R&D activities between research groups of The Community of Madrid in Social Sciences and Humanities, co-financed with European Social Fund.
This new aid, direct continuation of the previous Trust-cm, means a new impulse to the Program in Culture of Legality. Integrated by eight research groups from five universities of the Community of Madrid and more than fifty researchers from different areas of knowledge, the Program addresses, on the one hand, the theoretical enterprise of conceptual development of dimensions relevant to the consolidation of the rule of law and the deepening of democracy. On the other hand, it includes a singular technical concern about the progress and improvement of the instruments and processes relevant to the fight against corruption, understood as a complex and wide phenomenon, and the promotion of means of Good Government. Besides these theoretical dimensions, the Program contains pragmatic initiatives aimed at the promotion of public virtues and the spreading of the underlying values of the proposition that includes a broad number of activities of advice, dissemination, education and awareness.
